This year's edition , entitled “Internationalization: Instructions for Use” promises to be particularly interesting because it takes into account the strategic aspects to bail out the difficult economic environment that is still charactering the market for consumption and production , directly addressing to small and medium enterprises focused on “Made in Italy” and the relationship between them and international markets; in the course of the event it will be examined , in all material respects , the processes of internationalization and export especially in the food and beverage industry , including phenomena such as the typification of food products and the trend of the brand of Made in Italy. During the event there will be a strong debate on industry analysis and trends, opportunities and challenges, prospects and potential as well. Furthermore, will be identified any problem solving methodologies , formulas and collaborative synergy between companies , as well as ad hoc solutions for enterprises that want to dedicate themselves to the internationalization and export.

The working day will open with a session titled “Present: consumption mode” where it will be analyzed the issue of internationalization under a commercial aspect, with a focus on the market areas of primary interest to SMEs . The goal is to provide answers and operational tools for companies wishing to undertake the process of internationalization , exposing commercial issues , legal and customs . These answers will connect the direct testimony from the markets and the opportunities that may open up with the upcoming Expo 2015 .

At the end of the first part of the event will be tasted food products of the member companies UnicaItalia Methos project - presented in the last edition of Big & Small - promoting an escort service , promotion and marketing dedicated to agribusiness SMEs Made In Italy . The goal is to enhance the competitiveness of Italian SMEs and resolve critical issues related to internationalization and exports in foreign markets. This is also why the edition 2014 Big & Small will pay particular attention to regulatory and bureaucratic , and the strengths and weaknesses of foreign markets , and especially China and the United States , which still represent the best prospects and opportunities for the brand of made in Italy .

The resumption of the work is entrusted to the session " EU Funds : Opportunities for Growth " in which the issue of internationalization will be discussed also in terms of credit and subsidized finance .
