Mauro Loy: At support to the competitiveness of enterprises

Mauro Loy, CEO at Methos, launches seventh edition of “Big & Small”, an event dedicated to the growth and development of Italian companies.

“It is my honor and pleasure to invite you to take part in the seventh edition of Big & Small, as this year promises to be even more interesting than the previous editions because along with speakers, actors and the public, we will discuss about any strategic solutions to increase the competitiveness of companies of Made in Italy dealing with the access to international markets. That’s why we chose to entitle this edition “Internationalization: instructions for use”. We came to this topic after a complicated and difficult job, sometimes even confusing, that’s been starting in the last edition of “Big&Small”, actually when we launched the project Unicaitalia , an integrated service of international accompaniment and assistance for companies of Made in Italy to enter international markets. But as the job proved to be complicated as  we realized, almost unexpectedly , that the effort began to bring some results. We have seen the passion and interest of the companies, which gradually transformed into hope, optimism to get out of a crisis that’s still affecting our market. Furthermore don’t forget that in a few months will open Expo 2015 , a great opportunity for those companies that will intercept the opportunities that arise and transform them into business. Anyway, to do so it is essential to be familiar with the internationalization and all of its phases. It was at this point that we realized that we need to dedicate Big & Small , our space of confrontation, to businesses, in order to understand how to become more competitive not only on the domestic market , but especially in the international markets and those which offer the best prospects for development and growth .

Thus, from the edition of Big & Small flash, which was held this year in the medieval fortress Rocca Casalina in Deruta, we spoke about policies for growth and development of enterprises, and today with Big & Small 7.0 we have the opportunity to close this thread by dealing with the strategies for the development of enterprises and the solutions to enhance and increase their competitiveness in an increasingly powerful and highly specialized market. In a word, the goal of Big & Small 7.0 is just to put Italian companies in a position to better respond to market developments and needs in the coming years, identifying solutions and modus laborandi in order to give finally the Made in Italy the place that it is within markets, both national and international”.
